ROLE PURPOSE
Collaborate with the Human Capital team and business on the end-to-end management and implementation of Human Capital events and projects in line with the Group Finance and Group Risk People Strategy and engagement plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
- Collaborate with the Head of Human Capital and Marketing in the design and implementation of the connection plan for Group Finance and Risk Management. The connection plan is aimed at increasing employee engagement and connection in the evolving world of work.
- Implement creative and innovative engagement and eventing solutions for Group Finance and Risk Management across the Human Capital (HC) value chain.
- Deliver high quality employee brand experiences through events and activations.
- Create a positive work climate and culture that energises employees and maximise employee productivity.
- Drive a culture that guides and directs best practice, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement and cohesiveness.
- Collaborate with relevant business leads and stakeholders i.e. COE’s, HCBP’s to ensure effective and timeous communication.
- Partner with the internal communication, events and brand team to ensure effective delivery of communication.
- Production of detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets).
- Ensure events are executed to the highest possible standards achieving ROI and set objectives for clients and stakeholders.
- Establishing clear delivery maps with operational roll-out plans
- Coordination of vendors and suppliers for events to meet client needs within agreed upon budgets.
- Establish a strong network of preferred suppliers to support the various events.
- Full accountability for the delivery of events within the agreed budget, time and quality parameters.
- Track and control all project and event expenses and coordinate the financial administration for the event.
- Perform post-event evaluations and produce impact reports for events stakeholders.
- Provide on-site event management and support and coordinate staff and service providers to ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Create and share documentation and feedback reports of employee perceptions at various events.
- Partner with HC COEs in initiating and improving the effective delivery of HC solutions, while integrating and sharing best practices.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Events management
- Degree in Marketing or Public Relations (preferred)
- 3-5 years’ experience in end-to-end event co-ordination, project management and working in cross-functional teams
