Leading the industry in the digital and retail space is no small feat, although this company is most definitely exceeding all [URL Removed] are looking for a talented Finance Solutions Architect (SAP) to join their team in Cape Town. You will strategically advise and shape requirements for financial solutions and create high-quality data, application, and technology architectures in support of the business requirements and lead the realisation of the design into the final solution implementation.
To apply, you need to have a Degree in Information Systems / BSc Computer Science (or similar) coupled with 7-10 years’ working experience within the IT industry and 5-10 years’ experience in SAP with at least 5 project lifecycles.
It’s vital that you have deep subject matter knowledge of general financial solutions including S/4 Hana and technical knowledge of SAP ERP architectures as applicable to the Retail business domain.
You also need 5+ years’ experience in the following:
- All aspects of IT projects from business analysis, architectures, system analysis, and design through development, testing, implementation, and production support (SDLC);
- Demonstrated expertise in a variety of application development methodologies and practices;
- Lead a team through an architectural development process and collaborate with all members of the software development team (2-3 years);
- Experience with current research and standards in Solution Architecture (2-3 years).
Adding to the above, your knowledge will need to encompass the following:
- Architecture and solution design (UML, OO, SOA, etc.) – desirable;
- Software development frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, TOGAF, etc.);
- Understanding of SAP Financial applications including SAP Finance, Controlling, S/4 HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BPC, and GRC (Group Risk and Compliance); and,
- Understanding of financial solutions in a non-SAP environment.
Salary is negotiable based on experience and current remuneration.
