Our client based in Jet Park is looking for an Inspector
Qualifications
- Qualification or trade as, Boilermaker, machinist, Fitter, Tool maker etc.
- Grade 12
- 5 – 10 years’ experience inspection field.
- Basic geometrical calculations, strong math skills.
Competencies
- Cleaning capabilities.
- Must have good eyesight
- Must be able to lift 25kg
- Kneel on both knees
- Push pull with both hands.
- Climb steps/ladders and on to components
- Reach above head to hook oblong on hook.
Responsibilities
- Analysing technical drawings & specifications for machining and other miscellaneous manufacturing processes.
- Read and understand basic mechanical blueprints, requisite knowledge, which provides an ability to complete inspections and record results including generating comprehensive nonconformance reports allowing the Material Review Board to understand the non-conformances without the need for further clarification.
- Perform all duties while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and quality system requirements and communicates in a professional manner.
- Perform inspections using standard inspection equipment, i.e. callipers, micrometres, indicators, comparator, various gages.
- Perform first article inspections and Engineering evaluation reports on items of moderate difficulty.
- Perform in-process, and last piece inspections, completes documentation accurately, & maintains a neat and orderly environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001and AS9100 standards is preferred
- Adhere to necessary HSE practices.
- General housekeeping.
- Maintain safe environment around lifts/lifting equipment
