Our client, a large Food Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and be responisble for the entire warehouse including processing, production, cold storage and outbound logistics. Requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Production/Warehouse/Supply Chain would be advantageous
- Min 5yrs warehouse/logistics management within the FMCG industry.
- Valid Drivers Licence and Own Transport
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire warehouse operation
- Staff training and management
- Receiving of the product and quality checking thereof
- Overseeing the cold room/storage facilities
- Housekeeing
- Adhering to Health and Safety
- Maintain vehicle fleet (i.e. forkilifts etc.)
- Implementation of the production plan
- Overee outbound logistics & exports
