Qualifications
- Qualified rigger or previous experience.
- Grade 10
- 5 years’ experience
Competencies
Skills and ability
- Cleaning capabilities.
- Must have good eyesight
- Must be able to lift 25kg
- Kneel on both knees
- Push pull with both hands.
- Climb steps/ladders and on to components
- Reach above head to hook oblong on hook.
- Repetitive bending and lifting items
Responsibilities
- Assist rigger in moving, slinging, lifting large crusher components in a safe manner.
- Position chain falls or hoist and or block and tackle as directed by rigger.
- Communicate by means of hand signals for safe lifts.
- Adhere to necessary HSE practices.
- General housekeeping.
- Maintain safe environment around lifts/lifting equipment
