- Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Design, develop and implement relevant business policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that the work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner throughout the organization
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement within production and cross functional departments
- Fruit receiving: Responsible for high level planning and coordination of all fruit from own farms and third-party growers. Responsible for the planning and coordination of Venco bins/tippers regarding all processing fruit
- Production: Responsible for the implementation of the production plan. Responsible for the management of the post-harvest application treatment of the entire production line
- Quality: Responsible for the entire production quality control process and management of the process and information. Responsible to provide regular feedback and reports. Manage relationship with PPECB/DAFF
- Logistics: Responsible for the management of all semi-finished and finished goods past the final inspection point. Liaise between packhouse and logistics regarding any issues
- Reports: Prepare reports timeously and accurately to meet company and department requirement and standards
- Other: Manage and ensure that the pack house follow all protocols
Desired Skills:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience at a middle management level
- Experience in Paltrack
- Citrus knowledge is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills to interpret research data for reports and apply mathematic techniques
