Primary Purpose:
To manage and maintain a good relationship between the company and its stakeholders.
Requirements and Experience
- National Diploma (NQF 6) OR Degree (NQF 7) in Public Administration / Management / Administration / Social Science
- 3 years’ experience in stakeholder relations and community development/facilitation. A sound knowledge of governing legislation in the water and sanitation industry and reporting
- Valid Driver’s License
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist the manager in compiling a programme for the company outlining various educational and intervention activities.
- Liaise and interact with stakeholders on service related issues in conjunction with COJ, Provincial and National departments.
- Build an information centre by gathering information on water and sanitation services through research.
- Organize and coordinate special events e.g. National Water Week, as and when required.
- Attend to and resolve customer queries from various quarters e.g. public meetings, councilor briefings etc.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection of CLO’s (community Liaison Officers) for special projects. Represent the company at stakeholder forums
