We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our Banking Client in Johannesburg. Forming part of the Technology and Operations Team as a Cyber Security Engineer, to ensure the maintainence of a sound Cyber posture and protection of customer and employee information, youwill do this by maintaining the Cyber road map with your colleagues and managing the operational day to day [URL Removed] and Access Management

  • Provide protection from Web Threats
  • Configuration Management Database management
  • IT Software and Hardware tracking related to Cyber
  • AWS Security responsibility
  • Data Analysis – ETL, Structuring, Cleaning 
  • “Phising” and “Pharming” response management
  • Developing endpoint security solutions to include File Integrity Monitoring andData Loss Prevention
  • Responding to all system and/or network security breaches

    • Required Experience:

    • Using Analytics to determine emerging threats
    • Ethical Hacking experience
    • Firewall and Encryption implementation
    • Direct experience with anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls and content filtering
    • Experience with risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
    • Experience designing secure networks, systems and application architectures
    • Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
    • Knowledge of AWS/Azure, AWS security practices (AWS and cloud platform as a service(PaaS) security)

    Required Qualifications:

    • Matric
    • Cyber Security qualification
