A Junior Marketing Assistant position is available within our Company to assist with the smooth operation of the marketing department.

We are a very well established gas company based in Centurion, in fact we have been around since 1947. We are the only gas lifestyle destination store in the entire Gauteng.
Skills we are looking for…
Ability to work in a very busy environment and cope with pressure, ‘cos things get hairy some days.
Must have great telephone etiquette, we deal with clients and suppliers.
Able to play nice with others and work alongside the various teams.
You must be able to micro manage yourself and work without much supervision, we are all grown-ups after all.
Must be flexible and find solutions to problems whilst living our core values.
Detail orientated, it is the little things that count.
A great sense of humour will be needed, its how we make it through the day.
We are a retail store so a professional and pleasant disposition is needed.
You must be tenacious, this is how we get things done.
You must be computer literate, or at least know where to switch it on.
A dash of creative experience, and a sprinkling of design experience with Inkscape will go a long way.
Must be eager to learn new things and show enthusiasm.
Some of your responsibilities include, but will not be limited to…
Co-ordination between all the departments and suppliers.
Assisting the Marketing Manager with various projects.
Social media updates and lead co-ordination.
Copywriting when needed.
Product info and pricing updates in store.
Updating the website when needed.
Assisting with basic designs when necessary.
Campaign breakdown and feedback.
Must be deadline / target driven and not buckle under pressure.
