Our client based in Port Elizabeth is looking for a Maintenance Artisan ( Fitter)The Successful candidate will responsible for mechanical maintenance (preventive & corrective) and breakdowns on all production machines in the [URL Removed] Functional Failures and breakdowns on Production Equipment. Perform troubleshooting on production machinesIdentify possible hardware and software breakdowns using the departmental/machine systems and pre-PM inspection checklist .Perform Predictive and preventitive maintenance on Production Equipment . Machine ownership – check and maintain equipment to be fit for [URL Removed] and execution of Maintain ME initiatives and ProgramsReview Maintenance Task List for value Add and recommend New tasks for [URL Removed] and Implement machine improvements in order to increase quality/production levels and to reduce breakdownsEnsure maximum machine availabilityPersue energy saving projectsProvide input into Spares requirements for the Business [URL Removed] support to the business unit [URL Removed] shift handover reportsRequired Experience: Qualified Fitter (Trade Test)School Qualification: Grade 125 Years Experience as a Fitter after qualificationExperience in the rubber industry will be beneficialShould you wish to apply please email your cv to [Email Address Removed].
