Position: Product Leader

Accountable to: Managing Director: Command Centre
Direct reports: 2 Current and 5 Future (Total)
Purpose of the Role :
To lead strategy for Product in the Customer journey. Develop Product that shifts the business into new categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Set Product Strategy for the business.
- Ensure Product Strategy is executed.
- Manage and maintain the Life time value and GP’s of products.
- Product Innovation and concept creation – Innovate and create products that deliver unbeatable value that our customers cannot get anywhere else.
- Manage the strategic relationships and negotiations with product fulfilment Partners.
- Ensure our product fulfillment is in accordance with the agreed SLA’s.
- Responsible for Strategic Product Value Management.
- Understand and pro-actively manage product performance.
- Ensure product strategy keeps our products relevant irrespective of state of economy.
- Oversee scripting and testing for the Business.
Knowledge, Experience & Skill :
- Relevant Tertiary Degree
- 10 Years minimum working experience
- Ability to understand economic situation and direction of SA
- Passion and knowledge of technology and how it can be and is used for innovating technology in insurance, motor vehicle, insurance health, life, cellular and legal
- Experience and understanding of insurance cells would be beneficial
- Experience in digital for the delivery of customer facing service solutions would be beneficial.
