Currently available within a leading financial services giant is a Senior Java Developer role, based in the North of Cape Town.
The Senior Developer will drive the process and contribute towards the production of quality code and products; in a team environment; in accordance with the prescribed architecture, standards and implement whilst providing assistance and coaching to intermediate and junior developers.
This is an exciting role for an experienced Java Dev looking to grow as a Leader.
Job requirements:
- IT related Degree
- Java Certified
- Minimum 5 years’ Java development experience
- Containerisation (Openshift)
- OO principles
- Spring framework, architectural and development best practices (e.g. SOA, dependency injection, ORM, EJB3, JPA etc.)
- J2EE application server environment
- REST API designs
- CI/CD principles
- GIT lab experience
- SDLC understanding
- Agile Scrum methodologies
