MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Property Law Department has extensive experience in the registration of developments and the registration of development bonds on behalf of major financial institutions. Your role is to support the Conveyancing Attorney in preparing various conveyancing and related documents independently. Contacting and liaising with clients, the Deeds Office, local authorities, estate agents, SARS, managing agents, banks, and attorneys. Handling Investec Bonds and property transfers (commercial and residential) from cradle to grave. Furthermore, attending to the collection of costs from clients and issuing and payments of guarantees.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric.
  • 5 to 10 years demonstrated experience with a recognised firm.
  • Industry specific computer Software: Lotus Notes and E-4.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).

BEHAVIOURAL CHARACTERISTICS and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professionally spoken and attired.
  • Even-tempered and able to cope under pressure.
  • Mature, logical, systematic, and effective.
  • Must be able to support the team in processing applications speedily and accurately.
  • Attention to detail is paramount.
