We are looking for Procurement Specialists to work remotely on a contract basis for a client in Saudi Arabia.
Strong technical skills within construction / building / civils / roadworks / engineering / infrastructure etc.
Strong experience in procurement and contract management essential.
This person needs to be able to work comfortably at home in a quiet environment with a strong fibre line and laptop. Currently the client does not require people on site in Saudi but going forward it could mean having to travel to Saudi and spend a couple of weeks there at a time.
This person will be responsible for leading medium to high complexity sourcing projects and supplier relationships working effectively along with multi Customer relationship Leads and other members of the procurement team.
Responsibilities:
Execution of multiple and high complexity sourcing projects and leads and deliver agreed business targets
Applies sourcing and supplier management methodology, leading cross functional teams executing multiple sourcing projects in a portfolio of goods, materials and services
Negotiate with suppliers effectively as and when required
Managing sourcing and supplier relationship management initiatives
Other important criteria:
IT Skills: Ability to use SAP SRM applications & MS Office suite
Relevant degree or 3 year diploma (Procurement / Project Management qual advantageous)
Fluency in English / Arabic very advantageous
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of accountability5 – 15 years experience in procurement and in managing multiple sourcing projects
