Mustek and Huawei have culminated their 10th year of partnership with a gala event to recognise the role of reseller partners in growing the Huawei brand in South Africa.
“Over the last 10 years our partners have grown with us,” says Mustek CEO David Kan. “Together we have established Huawei as one of the strongest enterprise brands in the South African market.”
The digital transformation imperative for organisations means the opportunity going forward is healthy, he adds. “We are excited about the rest of this decade, as we expect digital transformation to reshape the way we are living.”
The growth of technologies like cloud, hyperconvergence and artificial intelligence (AI) create opportunities for reseller partners to grow and expends, Kan adds.
“Together, we can create value for our customers and the country as a whole, growing the industry and creating opportunities that will help achieve success in a digital world.”
Spawn Fan, CEO of Huawei South Africa, points out that Huawei Enterprise saw 70% growth in the local market in 2020, reaching $14-million.
He attributes this success to the company’s partnering model and pays tribute to Mustek’s 10-year journey with Huawei.
“Huawei’s strategy is always to work with partners.”
