Our client, a leader in the Renewable Energy and related Equipment supply sector, based in Cape Town, seeks to employ a well experienced and qualified candidate to join their B2B Sales team.

You must have experience in solar panels and related energy generating equipment and solutions in order to provide technical support and sales service to customers.

Minimum requirements to meet:

  • You will have Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in renewable energy sales and business development (a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or Electrical Engineering would be highly advantageous)
  • You will have proven experience in providing technical solutions and providing recommendations to improve systems, as well as compiling tenders and proposals that are competitive and value adds to customers.
  • A solid track record in cold calling, identifying trends, providing after-sales service and creating a sales cycle and strategy for new business development.
  • You will be able to self manage and work as a team player in the meeting project deadlines, ensuring targets are met and excellent service is delivered
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, as well as proven problem solving abilities
  • A valid and unendorsed driver’s license and contactable references a must
