The opportunity is with a leading mining company. Based at their operations in the broader Emalahleni/Witbank areas, this role will be part of the strategic transformation of the HRD, training, learning and development environment.

Leading a team of technical trainers, this individual will also be deeply involved for the strategic set-up and roll-out of BBB-EE as the organisation is going through major changes. The role will suit a strong and dynamic leader.

Other areas of expertise required and value-add to bring will include:

  • Change in the training portfolio- processes, analysis, new proposals
  • Any experience in the implementation of an LMS will be very valuable – as project member or project lead
  • Content development related to HRD
  • Data analysis focus to properly identify business needs, address gaps, correct training methodologies
  • Audits
  • Policies & procedures development, best practices, compliance
  • Quality of training materials
  • Stakeholder relations – internally across the business and externally with regulatory bodies, service providors etc. incl MQA, SETA
  • Annual and interim reports
  • Experience with dashboard tools like Tableau a big advantage

Minimum qualification required is an NQF6 – National Diploma, or higher in HR or related fields
Additional training on BBBEE preferred
Experience in mining, heavy engineering, heavy manufacturing is essential

Preference will be given to female candidates or HDSA male candidates.
