Purpose of the Job:
This shipping services agency requires a Branch Finance Controller to effectively control & administer all financial aspects.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting Degree – major in Accounting
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years practical accounting experience
- Good understanding of auditing
- Computer literate
- General ledger, debtor & creditor management
- Asset management
- Good understanding of tax principles
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese – advantage
- Valid code 08 driver’s license
Behavioural Competencies:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Visible initiative and drive together with flexibility
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong people skills – colleagues & customers
- Good planning & organisational skills
- Ability to work outside normal working hours as/when required
