This role ensures the smooth implementation of SABLE software solutions internally and at client site that meet business requirements. The incumbent is expected to perform technical implementation duties and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using modern techniques and programming languages.
- Functions as technical architect for the implementation of Data Warehouse and RDBMS.
- Participate in multiple projects simultaneously as a senior implementation team member.
- Work harmoniously in a cross-functional team comprising business, development, implementation, and support to deliver quality solutions within budget and on time.
- Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for updates to databases.
- Ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, data usage, systems flow, and work processes; investigate problem areas following the software development lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve database performance (i.e. Optimization) issues.
- Document application process for future maintenance and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features.
- Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements.
Requirements:
- Computer science/IT or related qualification.
- 5-10 years work experience in software development and database implementation.
- Proficiency in Trans-SQL scripting and development.
- SQL Server 2008 to 2019.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience using BI reporting tools.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Willing to travel around SA and abroad to perform system updates and deployment.

Preferences will be given to candidates with the following additional requirements:
- Experience in ETL development, data warehousing and change management.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and XML programming languages will be an added advantage.
