Our client, with a reputable FMCG name in the industry seeks a dynamic Bookkeeper to join their team, working remotely.
The role entails:
- Assisting with on-line shopping portal
- Setting up a link between portal and Sage Business Cloud Accounting.
- Managing basic accounting functions including:
- Creating orders for clients online
- Ensuring this data is transferred to Sage
- Issuing invoices and credit notes to clients
- Managing cash book and all payment allocations
- Issuing statement of accounts to customers
- Collecting payments from customers
- Managing credit card recons and allocating them correctly in Sage
- Managing expense claims and allocating them correctly in Sage
- General admin including preparing meat permit and vegetable permit applications
- Capturing and managing all accounting enteries to the point that it is reviewed by our auditors
Strengths:
- Must be an all-rounder able to multi-task
- Must have a strong understanding of Sage Business Cloud Accounting
- Must have strong accounting knowledge
- Must have a strong command of Excel and Excel formulas
- Must have a strong command of Word including mail merges
- Quick learner
