Case Manager (Clinical Risk Management)

Large Managed Care Organisation seeks to offer a suitably qualified Professional Nurse a Case Management opportunity within their team.
Responsibilities:
- Review of in-hospital cases for accurate review of clinical care, length of stay
- Discharge planning
- Liaison with Medical Advisor on complex cases
- Co-ordinating in and post hospital care where necessary
- Educate members with regard to healthcare and their benefits
- Management of exclusions
- Adhere to all policies and clinical protocols
- Liaison with Service Providers to improve cost effectiveness of health care delivery
- Meet and exceed terms within SLA agreements
Requirements:
- Matric
- Nursing Diploma or Degree, current registration with SANC
- Minimum of 2 years clinical experience within private healthcare sector
- Excellent understanding of Hospital Case Management and Clinical Risk
- Minimum 2 years working experience as In-Hospital Case Manager or Case Manager within Managed Care
- Clinical Coding Knowledge: ICD, CPT, NRPL (will be tested)
