A well-established chemical raw material company supplying the Personal Care and Pharma manufacturing industry requires the above to assist the sales team, liaise with Key accounts and ensure that their clients are provided with the correct raw materials on time for various chemical manufacturing markets.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Min matric or equivalent as well as a tertiary qual is pref.
- Previous experience having worked in an Internal Sales Administration role ideally within the Chemical and related markets supplying the manufacturing industries is pref.
- Must have excel experience.
- Previous experience having worked on SAP or a related ERP system is pref.
- Person must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to build relationships with internal and external partners.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Manage and liaise with Senior Key Accounts within the Personal Care and Pharma manufacturing industry regarding the delivery or raw materials.
- Visit customers on occasion with the External Sales person to build strong relationships and to understand their business.
- Receive and process invoices and orders on SAP to ensure they meet delivery expectations.
- Track delivery of product to customers.
- Prepare invoices and forward to customers.
- Liaise with the Supply Chain team regarding delivery of raw materials to clients.
- Liaise with the Logistics Manager to ensure that all shortages and damages were reported within the stipulated time limit.
- Compile quotations, invoices, credit notes and statement runs.
- Attend weekly meetings with external Sales staff.
- Ensure that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries.
- Monitor stock levels to meet customer’s needs, including reserved stock.
