- Oversee the development and implementation of Sector Skills Plan, Strat Plan and Annual Performance Plan to identify effective interventions for skills development in the food and beverages manufacturing sector.
- Develop Grant Funding Model and Grant Funding Strategy for the organization
- Develop Research Strategy and Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
- Oversee management of organizational performance
- Lead in the development and implementation of grants for the sector
- Management of Business Chambers in the food and manufacturing sector.
- Management of stakeholders such as employers, learners, cooperatives, Non-profit making Organisations.
- Act as an advisor to the CEO and Board on the development and implementation of grants and other skills development initiatives.
- Management of research commissioned by the SETA and sector at large.
- Oversee the implementation of learning programmes (i.e. learnerships, undergraduate bursaries and postgraduate research bursaries, Internships, workplace placements, Artisan, etc.)
- Management and coordination of business chambers in the food and beverages manufacturing sector
- Risk management
