What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
In this position you will find yourself in a seat at the leadership table, representing the Research and Development team in all aspects, including project management and overseeing a team of Research and Development Technologists.

You will be responsible for trend-scouting and market research, developing products according to your client’s specifications and requirements. You will be designing production processes for new product lines, working closely with the Marketing Department and Project Management team in respect of concepts, packaging and the process of new product development

What you’ll need
Your Masters in Food Technology or Nutritional Science, your minimum of 8 years in product research and development in food manufacturing combined with your project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your knowledge of SA food labelling legislations and competency in nutritional profiling and calculations and strong mathematical skills will see you qualify for this position.

You are in good health and have no dietary restrictions as you will be tasting all types of foods daily.
