Our client, a market leader in the field of industrial electrical installations, commissioning and maintenance, seeks to employ a vibrant and business minded Master Installation Electrician to join their team in Johannesburg or Durban.
This role is specific to candidates who are currently registered with a valid Master Installation certification and no other qualification will be considered.
This role is a developmental role, whereby the successful candidate will assume a management role, mentoring a national team of artisans and project leaders, therefore you will have natural leadership abilities, a solid communication style and the ability to maintain and regenerate business with clients.
Essential criteria to meet in order to be considered:
- You must have completed a recognised Electrical trade test and have a valid Master Installation Electrician certification, registered with the ECA
- In addition, you will have 8-10 years experience as an MIE working on installation and commissioning of equipment in a hazardous, Oli&Gas or Petro-chemical environment
- Your sound knowledge of Health and Safety, compliance and inspections to authorise COC’s, as well as ensuring work at height permits and other requirements are met
- A natural, self-motivated and astute business acumen and ability to self manage and take responsibility for the company’s technical performance is essential
- You must have your own, reliable vehicle and be willing to travel across South Africa to follow up on installations, manage commissioning projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
