ASSMANG Pty Ltd requires the services of a Manager Human Resources Operational at their Black Rock Mine Operations situated 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape.
MAIN TASK AND RESPONSIBILITYTo ensure the coordination of quality, effective, accessible and consistent one- stop transactional and operational HR services and advise line management and employees, as an integral business partner (in production, productivity assurance, safety and operational compliance at operational level).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSÂ· Grade 12Â· Bachelor Degree / B. Tech Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (Required)Â· Honours Degree Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (Recommended)Â· Valid Driver’s License Code B/EB
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTSÂ· 5 Yearsâ€™ Human Resource Management experience. Â· 8 -10 Yearsâ€™ HR Generalist (General Human Resources exposure to main functions in the area).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSÂ· Computer literate (Microsoft Package)Â· System Skills: Electronic Document Management System, Enterprise Resource Planning, Human Resource Information Management Systems, Information Management Systems, Learning Management Systems & SHERQ Systems. Â·Â· Management and coordination of one-stop service and advice centre to line management on day-to-day operational business management in the production environment. Â· Initiate the development of HR analytical tools / dashboards and reports to enable people management trend analysis and to enrich pro-active improved operational people management decisions to improve labour availability, labour productivity, people performance management and accurate labour planning and control. Â· Coordination of effective and in time best practices recruitment and on-boarding according to labour plan. Implementation of a reputable workforce planning system to ensure accurate annual labour compliment planning. Â· Manage and govern effective labour planning and control by ensuring effective and controlled labour movement in tandem with Oracle core system. Â· Manage labour availability, absenteeism, unacceptable attendance and sick leave abuse managementÂ· Coordinate optimal people systems optimisation and utilisation, i. e. Time & Attendance, Leave self-service, Self-service, LMS training planning, performance management tool etc. Â· Assist the OD section operationally with change management, interventions and climate surveys. Assist HRD Manager operationally with the coordination and implementation of a culture of quarterly LMS training planning, refresher scheduling etc. and ultimately to influence line management to adopt and embrace a learning organisation culture. Assist ER Manager to grow a culture of fair and consistent disciplinary practices and conflict resolution implementation. Pro-actively caution the ER Manager on emergency conflict indications/indicators. Â· Assist Payroll Accountant with pay methodology interpretations and efficient payroll related conflict resolution and influence line management and employees to embrace a cost-to-company remuneration culture.
