Our client is looking for a newly qualified CA (SA) to join their team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • The accounting and management accounts of entities within the Group

  • Business analytics within the Group

  • Monitoring actual expenses against the approved budget and identifying variances, and compiling monthly management reports
  • Ensuring that all balance sheet reconciliations are produced on an accurate and timely basis to include bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors and inter-company accounts
  • Fulfilling Group level accounting functions as required
  • Developing annual budgets in collaboration with the Group Financial Manager and business unit heads
  • Assisting with the annual audit process
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements relating to financial control, financial management, accounting and tax
  • Ensuring implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures and systems across all teams
  • Database / CRM Administration
  • General administrative tasks as required from time to time

Requirements:

  • Newly qualified CA (SA)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
  • Knowledge of cloud based accounting (Zoho) would be an advantage
  • Must be highly numerate and be able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports which can be understood by non-financial colleagues
  • Must be able to work with data extracts from multiple data sources to compile financial analysis reports
