  • Develop and implement a fit for purpose Digital Strategy, operating model and processes that enable business growth and development through technology.
  • Define and oversee the implementation of an integrated enterprise architecture that supports the business’ long-term digital strategy.
  • Identification and management of multi-million-rand technology/systems to facilitate the
  • achievement of business outcomes, as well as its and integration into the business operations, as well as with existing systems.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of systems across multiple operating locations to ensure minimal down time and continued business enablement.
  • Contribute to the design and development of product systems and applications, ensuring that client interaction and segment requirements are incorporated into the design.
  • Provide strategic direction to leverage technology enablers to optimise business performance and increase efficiencies through data.

  • Establish and implement an analytic capability to provide the segment with meaningful IT analytics and insights.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Degree in Computer Science.
  • Post graduate qualification in Information Technology (strongly preferred).
  • Good understanding of SQL.
  • 10 to 15 years’ proven experience in an executive IT role (Exco role), strong preference in a financial services environment.
  • 5-10 leadership experience having led a multi-skilled end to end IT, analytics team
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience managing change and project teams.
  • Experience with the full IT value chain.
  • Exceptional experience in the creation and implementation of information technology (with specific reference to operating systems, data science, analytics).
  • Demonstrated success on balance sheet impact of business (deliver and enable businessoutcomes).
  • Proven track record of implementing and driving strategy related to client/customer valueproposition.
  • Experience in business development role will be an added advantage.
