Our client is an owner managed South African company that specializes in the manufacture and supply of equipment to the poultry industry for over 35 years. They are one of only a few local manufacturers of poultry farming equipment. In conjunction with their high-quality manufactured products, they also hold the agencies for world-class brands in the poultry industry.

They are looking for a detail-oriented Financial & Office Manager to perform and coordinate all accounting functions. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, system implementation and continues improvement of processes and internal controls.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid working knowledge of IFRS and strong financial analysis skills. Should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Full financial responsibility managing P&L, cash flow and ensure optimised financial gearing
  • Implement new accounting framework and accounting system
  • Implement and strengthen financial business strategy
  • Business modelling for various new projects
  • Implement full variance analysis and responsible for full monthly reporting
  • Monthly management meetings and presentations to shareholders
  • Manage Forex risk and hedging of all foreign currencies
  • Responsible for audit and obtained clean audit reports for duration of my employment
  • Responsible for Payroll and all tax related matters and submissions

  • Knowledge on Syspro package would be added advantage
