- REPORTS TO: Manager Technical Skills Academy
DUTIES:
- Management and delivery of all administration functions for the Technical Skills Academy (TSA) – learner administration, procurement, communication, etc.
- Cost/revenue management and control.
- Effective administration and support to ensure successful training delivery.
- Customer support (TSA, site, company SDF, site TDO’s, etc.).
- L & D administration services (e.g. contracts, grants, rebates, etc.).
- General management & compliance support to the academy manager.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 – 10 years Training experience in a training environment.
- Minimum of 5 years in a maintenance capacity in a heavy industrial industry.
- Basic Instrumentation knowledge and experience.
- Cost/revenue control and procurement related experience will be advantageous.
- Potential to assume wider and higher responsibilities with appropriate development path.
- Experience and understanding of Digital Technologies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
- Matric/Grade 12 (Mathematics and Science)
- Qualified Artisan – Electrician (MQA Learnership Route) / Millwright
- Certified Courses in Basic Instrumentation including Siemens PLC will be advantageous.
- National N6 Electrical Engineering Diploma will be advantageous
- Registered Assessor and Moderator
- OD-ETDP Certificate will be advantageous
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
