Solutions Architect – Telecoms Industry (JHB North)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion
Qualification and Experience:
Grade 12 +
Formal qualification in IT/IS preferable a Degree (e.g., BCom Information Systems/Informatics/Computer Science), etc.
At least three years broad technical/experience with extensive depth in one or more disciplines – preferably in Microsoft technologies.
Knowledge, Soft Skills & Abilities Required:
Software development methodologies e.g., Agile
Facilitation skills
English language proficiency (written and spoken)
Some experience in UML modelling
Experience with integration technologies such as REST/JSON/Web Services
Some knowledge of ColdFusion
Enabling technologies and trends e.g., Microservices, ECM, BPM, BRM, ESB & BI
Understanding of the Cloud computing environments
Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF/Zachman
