Our client is actively recruiting for a Warranty Clerk to join their team in Johannesburg.
Duties & Responsibilities
To keep in line with the Warranty departments Policies and Procedures
Adjudication of all Regional Warranty submissions, from your appointed Branch/Dealer.
Proper and effective office administration, with a clean and tidy workstation
Management of Warranty queries from your Appointed Branch/Dealer, and assistance in said queries should it be necessary.
Monitor accuracy of all Warranty claims, and required picture proof received
Monitor accuracy of all Labour rates and Parts prices on all claims received.
Monitor the Branch/Dealers Corrective action with a Warranty repair to ensure all repairs are within the Industry standard. (Complaint, Cause, and Correction)
Claim back from Engine and Chassis suppliers, to ensure product improvement, and to ensure supplier is liable for their individual product failure
Keep track of all Mayor Component failures to Recondition said parts to optimise time limits, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Proper, respectful, and clear communication with Branch/Dealer, and other relevant employees.
Take ownership of all monthly supplier claim backs, and daily claim submissions from dedicated Branch/Dealer
Liaise with Warranty Supervisor, and National Aftersales Manager about all problematic claims or queries
Be available when necessary to conduct Branch/Dealer Warranty audits or training
Develop action plans, and communicate said plans with Management for implementation
Proper adherence to company policies, procedures and company assets.
Development and upkeep of Warranty daily reports
Ensure that Approvals and Rejections are send through to Branch/Dealer with Financial settlements, and proof of said settlements
Ensure that all tasks performed comply with all standards required by FAW SA.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Must have Warranty Experience
Preferable from OEM
Must be technical
Excel Experience
