Education and Experience requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
.Net, C#, SQL experience is essential
Minimum 5 years experience in writing and implementing stored procedures in Windows SQL Server, using SQL Server Management Studio with the ability to debug code using the profiler
Warehousing, supply chain sector experience is beneficial
Knowledge
Excellent understanding of creating tables, views, triggers, partitions, complex stored procedures, functions, indexes and other database objects in Windows SQL Server, using SQL Server Management Studio and the common tools.
Good knowledge of Web Platform design and development using Visual Studio .Net, C#, ASP.Net, MS SQL, Entity Framework, .Net Core, Test Driven Development
Good DBA Skills such as understanding of database and system response time analysis, and optimisation methods
Good understanding of custom report development using SQL Server Reporting Services
Good understanding on how to document technical requirement specifications and how to provide estimates from business requirement specifications.
Good understanding of the Software development life cycle and industry related concepts, tools and methodology including quality related process and activities related to SDLC
Basic understanding of warehousing, supply chain and logistics processes and requirements (beneficial)
