Key Performance Areas :

  • This role requires an in depth knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2012/2012 R2, Exchange, Windows security, Azure Cloud Services and technologies
  • Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Services for global initiatives following those through to implementation via collaboration with project and support teams.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment.
  • Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
  • Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology issues that cannot be resolved by tier one and two server support.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
  • Provide training as required Active Directory Disaster Recovery Plan

  • Install and maintain servers (including racking / cabling, and installing operating systems)
  • Assist in the Maintenance of VMware environments
  • Resolve problems within Microsoft systems and third-party applications
  • Provide support and guidance to other teams when necessary

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • MCITP 2008

Years

  • 5 – 8 years’ relevant experience including but not limited to Operational Support/ Enterprise Services; Managed Services; Professional Services; High level scripting

Experience
Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory (AD) configuration and administration, including:

  • Design, Deployment and Administration of Active Directory and Exchange / Office 365 in corporate environments (in excess of 2,000 users)
  • Created design and migration documents leveraging Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint.
  • Created Exchange / O365 integrated architectures and migration approaches to facilitate project planning
  • Follow necessary Change Management processes and procedures
  • Analyse customer needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions
  • Conduct assessments on existing Active Directory and Exchange [Phone Number Removed]; environments and identify areas that are non-compliant with Microsoft’s recommended best practices
  • Deployment and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange, including Outlook client configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of Exchange mail routing, Auto-discover concepts and Availability Services
  • In-depth knowledge of AD schema and objects.
  • Experience of AD migrations and / or upgrades in large environments
  • Extensive knowledge on AD planning, design, implementation, maintenance and support
  • Extensive knowledge of ADSI, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, Virtual vs. Read Only and Physical DCs
  • Managing complex AD environments
  • Technical experience with Windows 2008-2016
  • Expertise in the Exchange Server
