Our client is recruiting for aRoad Freight Business – Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis. Key performance areas:

  • Provide expertise in assessing the gap between the current state and desired future direction and established effective ways for closing the gap in own area of accountability.
  • Facilitate, design or implement, in conjunction with key stakeholders:
  • Digital Transformation and Value Realisation Framework for digital products and initiatives
  • Business case development, including quantification and measurement of value
  • Change Management Frameworks and plans
  • Digital adoption and training initiatives for short and long-term goals
  • Design or oversee the test and UAT approach, methodology, and success criteria for business improvement solutions or digital products.
  • Design and conduct business and user readiness assessments on strategic initiatives
  • The candidate will work on multiple initiatives concurrently and during this process, may be responsible for:
  • Driving new initiatives undertaken by the organization or project team, which may also include Business Analysis, initial Data Analysis and change management aspects
  • Managing and overseeing team members per initiative where required
  • Partnering with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies
  • Collaborate closely with project and development team to ensure transformation needs are addressed in the project timelines and requirements, providing necessary support to the team during QA, UAT, golive and hyper-care process.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations.
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, investigating business needs, determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities.
  • Provide advice to prevent and reduce financial wastage in the relevant business area.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders that contributes to a culture of customer service excellence.
  • Obtain, analyse and report on business performance and identify initiatives that will improve business results.
  • Provide value-added practice improvements, initiatives and services to deliver on organisational objectives, working closely with the D&IT representatives and Operations Excellence teams within business.
  • Provide advice and give input to the service delivery excellence practice optimisation.
  • Drive and participate in forums that positively contribute to functional knowledge improvement.
  • Own and live up to the company values.

Minimum RequirementsQualifications required:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Advantageous: Business Analysis or Product owner qualification from accredited institution
  • Advantageous: Qualification in digital transformation and change management.

Minimum experience required:

  • 8 years or more experience in a similar environment, with at least 2 years senior specialist experience
  • Need to be able to work with difficult senior stakeholders on various systems and initiatives.
  • Projects include system implementation, a little bit of data analysis, assisting Executive system related improvement initiatives
