Responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of projects.
  • Coordinating all project activities and Agile implementation.
  • Interacting with customers regarding product releases
  • Motivating and inspiring team members to maximize their potential.
  • Encouraging self-organization within the team and empowering team members.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Guiding the team in implementing Agile methodology rules.
  • Organising Scrum events as necessary.
  • Removing impediments so the team can focus on the work at hand.
  • Managing the requirement gathering from internal and external customers.
  • Following the change management process.
  • Preparing and planning projects and driving those plans through.
  • Mitigating risks and addressing issues.
  • Representing company stakeholders at customer meetings and presentations.
  • Working with Product Owner to align teams with the product vision.
  • Creating an environment of collaboration within the teams.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities.
  • Communicating organisational impediments to leadership.
  • Coaching Product Owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog.

Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) required.
  • Project management certification preferred.

Skills / Experience:

  • Deep understanding of Agile framework (Scrum and Kanban).
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile, Scrum and disciplined Agile delivery concepts and methods.
  • Expertise in SDLC models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Expertise in JIRA (be able to administer projects, run sprints, produce charts and reports)
  • Experience in the following:
  • Refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection and other Scrum techniques.
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
  • Working with Scrum teams as well as dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for eliciting change in team behavior.
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership. Facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, increasing transparency.
  • Knowledge / experience in the following:
    • CI/CD pipelines / Java.
