We constantly challenge ourselves to improve our systems and processes as we strive to create that seamless customer experience. Responsible for expanding and retaining the group’s credit customer database, TFG Financial Services offers credit and insurance services as well as publishing, insurance and cellular offerings via group stores and its expanded call centre facilities (which employ more than 1 500 staff). The Data and Communications business unit of TFG Financial Services is a dynamic, complex environment characterized by continuous growth and expansion. A role has become available for a SAS Business Administrator.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Support of the business users in their use of the SAS Marketing Automation platform.
Manage SAS Metadata environment that supports the marketing fulfilment function. This includes changes to the Info Map, Export definitions etc.
Work closely together with IT dba’s and developers to ensure the SAS environment is up and running.
Manage analytical model production life cycle
General SAS Development in support of certain business processes
Maintain job scheduler
Document and Implement SAS coding Standards and Guidelines
First line support to SAS users in TFG
Requirements:
A relevant qualification in a computer programming fields is desirable.
Some exposure to SAS preferable
Process thinking skill
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
High attention to detail
Ability to communication and interact at various levels
Innovative thinking
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
