6 Months Contract
The Business Analyst takes responsibility for identify and solving problems affecting the business solution, and works closely with the project manager to analyse the existing business systems and makes recommendations for improvement. Acting as the key interface between the users and the project manager they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users. A UAT Tester comes into play when the final software is to be released. This role serves essentially as the Tester that will try out all functions at least once and run through all possible eventualities. The UAT Tester plans and conceptualises the necessary tests to be carried out. They organise test runs to ensure the testing can be approved to be deployed. They execute test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures, and test system modifications to prepare for implementation supporting the User Acceptance Testing effort for the Trust. The incumbent will act as a liaison between the Trust and IT personnel during testing activities until the solution is deployed to production and post-implementation testing has been completed.
Duties & Responsibilities
User Acceptance Testing
- Identify, track and help resolve defects. Record test results on time and at a high quality.
- Attend UAT check-in sessions and provide feedback on testing progress.
- Support and participate in quality assurance test scenario reviews to identify gaps.
- Ensure sign off is received on UAT results from project and product owners.
- Manage testing timelines and progress independently.
- Communicate status, defects and progress clearly and consistently. Create or update reports with status as needed.
- Plan, Facilitate, or assist with meetings as needed to accomplish individual, team and/or project goals. Ability to identify risks and issues, collaborate and partner with others and proactively plan to mitigate.
Business Analyst
- Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development Senior Business Analyst BA/UAT Tester of Trust solutions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to design solutions that meet Trusts business requirements and fulfill user stories.
- Elicit requirements using a variety of techniques (e.g. JAD, interviews and documentation, BRDs, functional & technical specifications, use cases).
- Participate in key meetings with stakeholders including requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end-user training.
- Configure relevant systems (including workflows, validation rules, and security controls).
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year bachelor’s degree in computer science, informatics, engineering or IT or another relevant field degree
- Min 5 years’ experience BA and UAT
