An Investment company seeks an innovative, passionate Portfolio Performance and Compliance (Static Data and Mandate Compliance) Team member to join the Investments team on a 6 month contract.
Requirements:
- BCom, Computer Systems degree or related equivalent qualification
- Post graduate degree advantageous
- 3 – 4 years related work experience working with static data and mandate compliance
- In-depth knowledge of financial instruments and financial markets
Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of static data management across all asset classes and systems (Hiportfolio, Charles River)
- Responsible for asset allocation and mandate compliance reporting for all portfolios
- Ensure compliance with client mandates by building compliance models and ensure monitoring thereof
- Responsible for developing policies and procedure manuals that govern mandate compliance for the business and Static Data Management
- Conduct Trade Compliance (Pre Trade, Post Trade and placing embargoes on both Hiportfolio and Charles River)
- Monitor, analyse, resolve and escalate any investment breaches
- Manage client take on and exit from portfolio creation to building compliance rules based on new client investment limits, restrictions and investment guidelines
- Key User Participant in implementation and testing of all new systems to ensure data integrity
Competencies:
- Good knowledge of domestic as well as international instruments across all asset classes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- In-depth knowledge of Static data management in Hiportfolio, Charles River,
- In-depth knowledge of Charles River compliance module
