Purpose of the Role :

We are looking for someone who can help drive development, assist in our Agile journey and take over leadership.
At The Unlimited you will be part of a team responsible for solving business challenges in an agile, fun and fast-paced environment. You will be working directly with business to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own the development and delivery process.
- Strong ability in operationalisation and support.
- Assist in driving and evangelising Agile, lean practices and DevOps.
- Ensure the optimal deployment of technical resources to deliver against business requirements.
- Ensure that technology is applied in the most efficient way and that best practice is in front of mind.
- Obsessed with quality.
- Always concerned with the health and happiness of the team members.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills :
- 6 to 8 years in a technology environment.
- 3 years leading teams.
- Ideal for technologists that cut their teeth in development before finding their way into the technology and delivery leadership.
- Strong evidence of leadership coming through where this person was leading from both a resource and a technical thought leadership perspective.
- Respected as a leader and a technologist
- Evidence of innovative thinking and experience of thinking outside the box and problem solving.
- Evidence where this individual took challenges head on and played a key role in leading delivery.
- An understanding of technical challenges in environments such as:
- high volume transactional environments,
- payment systems,
- cloud technologies (public/private/hybrid)
- Excited by technology and the IT space
- Passionate about technology and will automatically see problems as opportunities.
- Ideal candidates would be Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Head of Development, Development Manager.
