ENVIRONMENT:A fast-paced & forward-thinking Bespoke Business Solutions Specialist in Randburg seeks the coding talents of a Snr Front-End Developer whose core focus will be developer appealing & interactive user-facing web applications and components. You will be responsible for building the client-side of web applications ensuring you produce robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code. You will also be expected to assist with Back-End Development & Support. Your tech toolset must include JavaScript, ES6+, the latest versions of [URL Removed] ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, HTML5, CSS3, including Sass/Less, as well as latest versions of Bootstrap, C#, .Net, SQL, Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator and Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms. - Develop user-facing responsive applications using [URL Removed] modular and reusable components and libraries.
- Optimize applications for performance.
- Implement testing into development and maintenance workflows.
- Stay up to date with all recent developments in the JavaScript and [URL Removed] space.
- Keep an eye on security updates and issues found with [URL Removed] and all project dependencies.
- Propose any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices.
- Write functional requirement documents and guides.
- Create quality mock-ups and prototypes.
- Assist with content management and support queries.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly proficient with the JavaScript language and its modern ES6+ syntax and features.
- Experience with Front-end frameworks such as [URL Removed] React or Angular, and understanding its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM.
- Familiar with the latest versions of [URL Removed] ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router.
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including Sass/Less, as well as latest versions of Bootstrap.
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs.
- C#, .NET framework, SQL.
- Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object-Oriented Programming paradigms.
- Able to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean code.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, especially for extracting assets for web applications.
Desirable
- TypeScript experience.
- Azure App Services, and Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code.
