An International Mining Company has a CONTRACT VACANCY available for a Mid to Senior Level Project Manager in the Process/Security portfolio

The candidate needs to have extensive knowledge of all ITIL processes, as well as technical knowledge of ServiceNow or related ITSM tools. The candidate needs to be able to communicate very effectively on all levels, and work on defining processes and identify gaps/overlaps and possible interdependencies on various technical SNOW projects.

Process/Security Project Manager will work with process consultant(s), HCL/Accenture and BT technical teams, business stakeholders and other project managers to ensure smooth delivery of processes related projects. There will also be a key focus on identifying and managing interdependencies between all processes and EUC related projects.

Manage the project(s) in adherence to programme governance and mining standards for Mining owned projects: produce, maintain and obtain sign-off of the Mining project management documentation including but not limited to PID(s), project plans, RAID(s).
For supplier owned projects
Review and approve supplier produced project management documentation including but not limited to PID(s) and plan(s). – Manage and co-ordinate project delivery and implementation, directing the Mining houses supplier and 3rd party resources where appropriate.
Accurately scope projects and effectively manage the interrelationship between deadline, functionality, risk, interdependencies, budget and quality.
Manage multiple projects that have different priorities through to completion.
Ensure that all projects are supported by a pre-business case and a business case.
Monitor and track status and progress of each project.
Updating project’s master work schedule.
Manage stakeholder communication.
Align the deliverables (outputs) to the projects “outcome” with the aidof the business change manager.
Define project governance (controls).
Manage project risks and issues taking corrective measurements, escalating these to the Programme Manager where appropriate and as per agreed programme governance.
Manage project change in adherence with programme governance and agreed tolerances.
Produce regular high quality, accurate and complete status reports.
Facilitate appropriate reviews to ensure all designs and work packages adhere to the Mining Houses.
Plan and carry-out service readiness rehearsals to validate the project is ready for handover to BAU (run) operations.
Managing and utilizing technical/solution architect resources across projects.
Work with appointed operational staff with regards to processes and work instructions that may need reviewing/amending.
Ensuring all Projects are registered at the PMO and that the Global PMO governance is being adhered to.
