  • Build, manage, analyse, and refine ecommerce strategies such as digital marketing, traffic, conversion, AOV, UX, pricing, inventory and marketing plan to maximise brand, sales, and customer KPI’s.

  • Plan AdWords, Facebook adwords and shopping campaigns are staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and revenue and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Plan all SEO/SEM/ EDM annual plans
  • SEO: Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns onsite and links and strategies offsite.
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Execute tests, collect, and analyse data, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI

  • Promotion Management – Planning, Setting up, scheduling, and testing monthly promotions
  • Content – Manage planning content calendar and managing production of content to distribute through social channels.
  • Ensure all materials comply with the brand guidelines.
  • Partnering with content creation specialists such as photographers and copywriters to work on marketing campaigns and projects – as required
  • Developing and refining brand collateral with the internal and potentially external teams to be fit for purpose
  • Grow Social media channels – likes and importantly engagement/shares
  • Marketing Materials Develop marketing materials to support e commerce initiatives and to deliver marketing materials to send directly to customers to achieve acquisition and subscriber targets
  • Reporting – Provide weekly and monthly reporting to show performance and delivery of campaigns.
  • Track, report, and analyse website analytics for initiatives and campaigns
  • Research and analyse competitor advertising links
  • Drive Customer Acquisition (database) and Build Loyalty/ Retention – 15%
  • Planning: Develop growth and retention strategies that builds our community and the multiple customer databases to ensure growth targets are met.
  • Execute and Analyse: Drive and deliver loyalty focused marketing campaigns to meet the targets set by the business. Track and analyse performance.
  • Research: Use data and consumer insights to further develop loyalty program. Conduct customer surveys, analyse data to come up with insights that will help shape strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Communication: Ensure all campaigns are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Team Management – 5%
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives eg, TeamWork, Slack, 11@11 and Team meetings.
  • Hold fortnightly individual accountability, monthly department and quarterly KPI review meetings.
  • Other – sound working relationship with current and future suppliers, external agencies, consultants
  • Develop and maintain cooperative relationships within all people internally
  • (as needed) Recruit and manage the marketing team ensuring we have the right people (enthusiastically rehire) in the right roles; and drive KPI achievement and performance outcomes. Ensure position descriptions are up to date.
  • (as needed) Managing agency partners and oversee PR outreach and inbound collaboration requests – (if relevant) to ensure maximum ROI

  • Work with Integrator to set eCommerce budgets/targets
  • Tight control of the company’s marketing budget and reporting monthly on spend against budget

Background
Rufus & Coco is looking to build our E Commerce platforms. The focus will be on The Fur Chef which delivers gourmet pet meals to Sydney. This is a new initiative with a lot of potential. This is in addition to ensuring all the platforms and social media channels have been optimised are up to date and a community is actively built.
Note: We have 5 brands; 5 websites and 20 social channels.
