A highly innovative market leader in the ITC sector seeks a Project Manager / Delivery Lead with professional Project Management certification (IPMA Level B or C, PMI PgMP, Prince2 Practitioner or similar), plus Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager experience gained in IT, Telecoms, Finance, Insurance or with a consulting firm servicing clients in these sectors.
Ensuring that the team delivers services to the customer and completes various project management activities, overall responsibility will be to manage both the client and the delivery teams, to ensure that the client gets items delivered within defined timelines and best customer experience.
The Project Manager / Delivery Lead will work with multiple stakeholders across the organisation, in various business units, servicing both external and internal customers.
Working closely with product management and customer support, this person will be responsible for maintaining the product backlog, iteration planning, communicating stakeholder requests and managing the development of team members.
Tasks performed will include the following:
- Leading project planning, scheduling, controlling and reporting on project progress
- Managing multiple projects (internal and external) and potentially multiple clients
- Compiling with the sales team the client book of work
- Partnering with sales and the client to ensure client solution requirements are well understood
- Managing the book of work to delivery
- Partnering with product to understand the component to deliver the solution
- Understanding internal and client environment to create best customer solutions
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure client delivery
- Ensuring that clear goals are set for the team to drive tasks to completion
- Ensuring timeous solution delivery
- Reporting on book of work both internally and externally to client
- Challenging the team to more innovative, streamlined operational processes, whilst consistently aiming for best customer experience.
- Serving as communication liaison between the team and the client on all client deliveries
- Scheduling monthly reviews and planning sessions with team and product stakeholders
Ideal candidates will hold professional Project Management certification e.g. IPMA Level C (Level B if required), PMI PgMP, Prince 2 Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes and ideally Management of Portfolios. A Bachelor degree will be seen as an advantage.
Strong project management plus experience in business analysis, gained in a senior business analyst role are prerequisites for the position. Previous consulting firm experience gained in a client facing role will be seen an advantage.
