Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients.
We are looking for a Automation Test Analyst to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 1 year contract role.
What you will be doing:
- Review and analyzing user stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration and Regression).
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Execute test cases manual or automated and analyze the results
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistency
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the agile product lifecycle
- Report bugs and errors to the development team
- Provide estimates for proposed changes.
- Attend daily standups.
What we are looking for:
- Completed IT / BSc degree or other relevant field
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a tester
- Manual and Automation experience required
Experience in the following technologies required:
- Java 8+
- Selenium
- Testing
- GIT
- API
Following will be advantageous:
- Jenkins
- Postmen
- DDT(Data Driven Testing)
