Purpose of the job:
To play a crucial role in the client’s Solar projects, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Proven experience in in renewable energy(solar) projects
- Familiarity with PV Plant Engineering Design
Technical Competencies and responsibilities
- Project planning and scheduling
- Design and implementation of electrical systems
- Integration of renewable energy technologies
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Conduct technical evaluations and feasibility studies
- Provide technical support during the project lifecycle
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Knowledge of mechatronics principles
- Knowledge of SANS-10142-1
