About Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced End User Computing (EUC) Manager/Lead to oversee our organization’s end-user computing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in desktop support, device management, and user experience optimization. They will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals to ensure the efficient operation, security, and optimization of end-user computing systems and services.

Skills required to contribute:

  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals responsible for desktop support, device management, and end-user services.
  • Develop and implement strategies for managing and optimizing the end-user computing environment, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
  • Define and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for desktop support, incident management, and service delivery to ensure consistent and high-quality support for end-users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess end-user needs, evaluate technology solutions, and implement improvements to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of end-user devices, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, security policies, and budgetary constraints.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect end-user devices and data from threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs) to identify trends, address issues, and optimize service delivery.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in end-user computing to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on end-user computing, desktop support, or device management.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in an end-user computing environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS), productivity applications, mobile devices (iOS, Android), and collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), VMware Workspace ONE, or Jamf Pro.
  • Knowledge of desktop virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) and cloud-based productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus
