Our client providing office automation solutions is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator / Helpdesk / Service Technician to join their team.
This is a technical role.
Please note that this is a full time office based position in Bryanston area.
Offering virtual/telephonic/screenshare support to clients from the company office.
The role may require travelling to client sites from time to time, and therefore it is preferred that you have your own transport available and a valid drivers license (sleep-outs is not a norm but may be required on rare occasions depending on the project needs such as asset management/registrations to be done on client sites across South Africa).
Strong knowledge and experience is desired above qualifications, however Matric is a minimum requirement.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 certificate
- N+ / A+ / Information Technology certificate
- 3+ Years experience in Systems Administration / IT Helpdesk or related
- MS Certification/licensing is desired, if expired please still apply!
- LAN & WAN networks with patch management and general knowledge of VPNs
- Office 365, Cloud Services, Forti AP’s, WIFI AP’s, HP Aruba
- Switches, VLAN, Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022, Active Directory Administration (users, groups, group policy, DNS, DHCP, organizational units), Fiber connections and different topologies
- Due to client base, fluent speaking in Afrikaans is highly preferred but negotiable
The salary will depend on years experience and will be discussed in a screening call.
