The candidate must have
- Completed BSc Honours (Computer science / Maths / Financial Maths / Engineering / Similar)
- 3-5 years relevant experience per below
- Proficient in the use of SAS, DS2, Visual Analytics, SQL, API Software and relational Databases.
Please note this is an office based position, situated in the Sandton area.
The role is responsible for assessing, developing, and optimizing credit rules and strategies within the credit decision systems. The ideal candidate will ensure these strategies are correctly implemented and functioning in production, while also analysing system and credit data to answer business questions. They will play a crucial role in maintaining system integrity, ensuring seamless interaction between the credit strategy and the business’s credit rules, and providing insightful reporting to support early warning triggers and monitoring.
This is a growing division and we seek a smart, skilled, and dynamic candidate with a strong communication skill set, able to contribute to the data, analytics and business case for the department.
