- Maintain existing systems according to change requests
- Produce appropriate software programs
- Debugging of Programs
- Provide test information to Testers
- Reporting on progress to the Project Manager or Team Lead
- Assist with the implementation of changes into the Production environment
- Document changes implemented and programs
- Mentoring and quality assurance of junior team members code
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary Qualification – IT Degree / Diploma highly advantageous
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within application development
Experience in writing web services (SOAP/XML) and (REST/JSON) and web development (JavaScript, PHP, CSS, HTML)
Skills: J2SE; JEE; JEE application servers; JEE application frameworks; IBM AIX/Unix; Database and SQL
